One of the best way to start your summer is to go out to the beach and enjoy the sand and sea with your closest friends. In my case, I'm with my fellow volleyball players. We're alumni from different chinese school sharing the same passion: VOLLEYBALL! We've been playing together for more than a year now.
But we also don't revolve ourselves around in volleyball only. We hang out at different place, dine at new restaurants in town, we go shopping whenever there are sale (actually I seldom go to shopping), and we TRAVEL. Our group already went to as near as tagaytay all the way far to La Union, Baguio, Batangas etc.
What makes this entry special? This is the first time that we're going to travel together away from Luzon.
SURIGAO DEL SUR
This plan started when they saw a promo of discounted price of a round-trip ticket of cebu pacific. Originally, there were 10 of them who booked the flight. I can't commit myself that time yet since it's months away and there might be emergencies at work or other aspects that I might need to attend to. But November came, another batch of promo for the same flight, when I decided to book my flight.
We do have different batch of flight initially, but due to re-scheduling we ended up riding the same plane. YEHEY! But our flight going back to manila is a different story. Since I booked on a different date, my time of departure is different from theirs and I'm all alone in my flight. So, I have to rebook again for me to go with the same flight as theirs. But of course, it's not free :(
PACKAGE TOUR
Since I wasn't busy before, I had more time to look for a package tour, or places highly recommended to be visited. I gave the choice of two package 1. Siargao-Surigao or 2. Surigao del Sur. Majority voted the latter. Our package tour, for the minimum of 10 pax is P5,500 per head. This includes dinner on our first night till breakfast on our last day, van transfers, entrance fees and 3 rooms good for 4 each.Day 1: March 19, 2015-NAIA TERMINAL 3 to BUTUAN AIRPORT
One of the perks of having a travel buddy who likes to bring cameras or go-pros, you'll get a lot of goodshots, may it be the place, groupics or solo pics. Thanks to them by the way for the photos
Our ETD going to Butuan Airport is at 1:25pm. We arrived at the airport as early as 11 in the morning to have our breakfast/early lunch there. Our plane took off at 1:45 then arrived safely at Butuan Airport by 3pm
By the way Butuan is pronounced as Bu-twan not Bu-tu-an. Bu-tu-an for some means a sex organ, I forgot if it's males or females.
We met our tour guide with his hi-ace that we're going to ride for the whole duration of our stay at Surigao. Whew! Glad all 12 of us plus our baggage fitted inside that huge van.
We made a short stop at Robinsons Butuan for the groceries and others since that's the nearest mall from our destination, which by the way is 2 hours no-heavy-traffic drive from our destination. Better be prepared right? We bought gallons of water, alcoholic beverages, cup noodles and etc. We left after an hour or two.
Mac-Arthur's Place Britannia
We arrived at the resort at 8 pm. Right time for our dinner because we were starving. And boy oh boy, our dinner's ready by the time we got there...all seafoods!!! Shells, Kinilaw and Calamares and 3 bottles of sodas. The resort is just 5 cartwheels away from our room...literally. But since it's already night time, there's nothing much to see. It's totally a Rural Area so there's no place to hang out at night, no clubs, just you and your friends and the beers!

We didn't do much except touring ourselves around the resort, had a little drink. We need to have our early rest since call time for tomorrow morning is 7 am (O.O)
