Birthday Celebration Day 3 Part 3-King Chef Banawe

Birthday with my Family

My mom treated us in King Chef in Banawe as her birthday gift for me. We made a reservation a day before and gave us a VIP room. Our reservation time is 7:30 pm.

Note: This is the continuation of the story from The Fort. It was still raining hard until early evening, so most of the places in Metro Manila is already flooded. Glad that I was spared from flood and heavy traffic.

Ate Hannah(sis-in-law) was the first one to arrived. She's working at Quezon City, just 10 cartwheels from her workplace and she's there hahaha. She stayed at Starbucks first where she waited for me. Coming only from Cubao, I was the second one to arrived and everybody else is late due to heavy traffic.

After I arrived, my mom called me on my phone and asked me to order for our foods so that it won't take a long time to serve them. So ate Hannah and I went in.

This is the view from the outside. The manager even asked me why I'm taking photos....."police lang ang peg" The tone of his voice is somewhat interrogating...or is it just me..I just simply told him that i will put it in my blog

Here's the pictures of the interior on the 2nd floor

By the time I was already ordering, Kuya Wesley(2nd eldest brother, husband of Ate Hannah), came with Julia(their daughter). They were stuck on a traffic jam for 2 hours before getting here. Aside from my mothers food order, we also asked for additional dimsum while waiting for the rest

Here are the early birds, taking wacky pictures while waiting for the food

KING CHEF

King Chef is a fine dining seafood restaurant that serves authentic Chinese Cuisine, specifically Cantonese. There are two branches, one is located in Banawe and the second is in Binondo in 2nd floor of Lucky Chinatown Mall.

DIMSUM

We ordered Dimsum as our starter. We ordered Japanese Siomai, Steamed Seafood Bundle, Pork Siomai, Hakaw, Kutchay Dumpling, Spring Roll and Beancurd Roll. I only got the chance to take two pictures as we're very hungry that I forgot hahaha

Then Mom and Tito Winston(her hubby) arrived, now we're almost complete.

MAIN COURSE

We ordered cold cuts, short orders and of course,...birthday noodles for longer life....Just a Chinese superstition ^_^ They serve their food family style.

This is their birthday noodles ^_^ No need for rice right?

SEAFOOD WITH SPINACH SOUP

DEEP FRIED SEAFOOD SALAD ROLL
This is one of my favorites

BROCOLLI WITH 3 KINDS
OF MUSHROOM
FRIED PIGEON
KING'S SUPERIOR
SEAFOOD HOTPOT

At last, Gilbert (eldest brother) and Victoria (his wife) finally came

Food is delicious and was quickly served. We're so full. It's quite expensive though. Good thing they have a dimsum promo feast where almost all dimsums are discounted.

OVERALL RATING: 8/10

Afterwards, we went to starbucks to have a tea, hoping that the flood has already subside and spending the last few hours of my birthday with them.
