Baguio Vacay Day 2 Part 1; Wright Park

Photobombed by my brother

Woke up 9 in the morning and it's very very cold!!! It's 16 degrees!!! I'd rather stay outside where the sun shines rather than stay indoors. We're planning for the itinerary for our three days stay here. SM Baguio is one of our destination definitely. Getting there is not a problem, but taking a bath without hot water at a temperture of 16 degrees is. Just imagine the agony. Brrrrrrrrr!!!!

It's time to use my first camera (That's right! This is the first time I bought a camera for myself. Thanks to my friend Larizza Cu).

Peter's Ville

Since most of the people here are sleeping, might as well go outside, take pictures and enjoy the sun with Erwin. The house in the picture above is the place where we're staying. It's from our family's very close friend.

Here's the interior of the house. Quite classy and elegant
There are lots of beautiful houses here inside the subdivision. We didn't strolled that much because most of the roads have steep inclines, not for the weak-kneed people like me. I really wish I have that huge amount of money to own a huge house in a place like this, especially now that Baguio is getting more and more accessible.

We looked pale white because it's too cold

It was fun walking around and enjoying nature, which you seldom see and feel in Metro Manila. You'll know the big difference between fresh air and polluted scent; the fog and the smog hahahaha.

Then there's a part in the subdivision where you can have a mountain view.

LUNCH TIME
They just started cooking Sinigang na Baboy for our lunch by the time we arrived, so we waited and play Poker....again! Good thing the bets are in small amounts, P10-P20 small-big blind.

While the adults are playing cards, kids borrowed my Ipad to play.

WRIGHT PARK
Time check 2:30pm. What is Baguio if it doesn't have horse-back riding. Boy-oh-boy am I so happy to see horses taller than me. They are way taller than what you usually see here in Binondo. By the way, the rate of horseback riding here is P200/ half hour or P300/hour. Erwin and kuya Wesley didn't ride, they took pictures instead.

The last time I rode a horse was when I was a child, like 2 decades ago or so. So It's quite scary especially that I don't know how to maneuver plus they ask me to ride Francis with me. Good thing Patrick(the name of the horse) is quite tame, though lazy because he walks like a snail. I enjoyed it very much.

After the fun, there's a taho vendor selling strawberry taho, instead of using caramelized sugar. P20/cup. Yummy!. Eat it while it's still hot.

Next itinerary for the day: The Mansion and SM Baguio Day 2 Part 2
