Birthday Celebration Day 3 Part 2-The Fort Global City

A WALK TO REMEMBER

I've been planning this date with my partner at The Fort few months ago, but it's quite far from both our places. He's from Marikina and I'm from Tondo. So I thought that maybe I can bring him there in one of our special occasions. And I chose my birthday as our date. It's also our monthsary date by the way.

A night before, I had an inuman session with the two groups(see birtday celebration day 2). I didn't drink much, because I might not get up early. Despite the tiredness, I still able to wake up early.Whew! Our meet up time is 10 in the morning and I don't want to be late. We meet up in LRT2 Santolan Station then took the train to Cubao to transfer to MRT then ride the second train all the way to Ayala. Then rode a bus going to market market

By the time we got to Market Market, it's already drizzling. So we ran to Serendra before the sky showers us with heavy rain. Then we had our lunch at Saboten. An embarassing moment when I asked for my reservation when in fact they're not accepting one. hahaha Fred talaga hindi ako winarningan!

After our sumptuous lunch at Saboten, I walked with my partner around the Fort, glad the rain stopped for a while. We walked along Bonifacio High Street, telling him stories and events during the time that I'm still working there. I brought him in Fully Booked where I spent my time reading before or after duty. Then there's Brother's Burger, my most favorite burger. And TIMEZONE. 

Back then, Global City was not yet developed. And by the time I got back here again, a lot has changed. We passed by the Mind Museum then brought him to Burgos Circle. That's where we celebrated Edgar's(close friend) birthday. We even saw Chef Jayps, one of the chef judges of masterchef pinoy edition

Then we went back to Mind Museum

I thought that the entrance fee here will be cheap. It's P600 per head!!!!waley na budget!!! hahahaha So instead of purchasing tickets of mind museum, we just bought the ticket of science in the park that cost P100 pesos each only

Hubby and I enjoyed playing around the bubble Area. Bumalik kami sa pagkabata nito hihihi

Unfortunately, our fun cut short as the weather didn't cooperate with us. We were supposed to go back to Timezone but we can't cross the road because it was raining really hard. We even waited for half an hour wishing that the rain will stop.

Until we decided to call it a day and leave the fort as the rain's not stopping. We took a cab and went somewhere else. We don't want to take the risk of getting stranded in a place where it's far from both our places.
Sleeping on the shoulder of your love one as you travel on your way home, what a great feeling!
