LAOAG
Now, we're off to Laoag, our last destination for the day. We checked-in a at Isabel Suites. It's a free day for the rest of the afternoon since we finished our first day itinerary earlier than expected. We even done some of the itinerary for the second day. It's quite a long tiring day so we rested  up a bit....well not for Reggie. He brought his work here and he's going to meet up with a friend...iba na talaga pag sikat^_^..I just had a short nap mga 15 minutes lang then change clothes then tambay sa lobby to call Mom and update her kung nasaan na ako. Syempre tawag din sa aking mahal then kwento ko sa kanya mga nangyari sa akin for the whole day. Good thing hindi na siya busy that time.

We don't have much picture in the hotel that we checked-in...."porket nde tourist spot hindi na pinicturan hahaha"

ISABEL SUITE
The hotel that we checked-in on our first day is Isabel Suites.
Pros
The room is air conditioned. Good thing they have a cable for TV as their local channels uses local dialects that I don't understand. The location is accessible to market, restaurant bus terminal and malls.
Cons
I'm not comfortable with the lights near the bed as it has no lampshade. It emits white light, so just imagine you're in a funeral with a coffin and you are lying in it (O.O). The CR is very small, the faucet is too low that I really have to bend just to wash my face. No Wi-fi in the room so you have to go all the way the hotel's restaurant just to have one.

Overall rating for me is 3 out of 10. I understand that it is a budget room but there are others which is cheaper yet better. They can do better than that. Right now, they are building an annex of the hotel. I hope they wont make the same mistakes.

Reggie is my roomate, Alain-Noel. Richard-Raissa and Julie-Mau. Reggie also complained about how small the CR is. Dear Reg, just imagine the agony for the rest of us. Peace Reg!!!!!

After talking to my mahal, Noel and Julie came out to the lobby as well. They want to buy a pair of slippers and a toothpaste, so I joined them. Reggie is already out way before we even took a nap. And the rest are left in the hotel sleeping. I got the chance to have a great bond with the pair. I never thought Julie, a tall, sexy and sophisticated Alessandra de Rossi look alike can be a fag hag or babaeng bakla hahahaha. She is so fun to be with. We got along very well. Then there's Noel. You can make him  laugh very easily. Just throw a few jokes, then he'll definitely laugh. Masaya kasama ang duo na ito. Good Vibes! We went to SM together for their things then walked around the city.

Since some of us wants to chill and have a few bottles at night, we asked the locals to tell us the best place to hang out. You know what bar they recommended, COCKHOUSE!!!!!! As funny as the bar's name, we still decided to drop by and see how the place looks like. so we asked for direction on getting there. Just a few walk from SM is cockhouse. It really is a bar with bands and beers. My type of place to chill. Then we asked for another bar just to have another options. Just like what Toni Gonzaga said, "OPTIONS! OPTIONS! OPTIONS!" but the second option is the funniest recommendation. I think they didn't understand us when we asked them a place to hang out at night. They point us to JOLLIBEE 24 hours hahahahaha. Unbelievable!

One of the scariest experience in Laoag is crossing the high way near the capitol on our way home. Everyone's driving fast and definitely there's a high chance one might get hit by a speeding vehicle. "Para akong nakikipagpatintero sa mga sasakyan para lang tumawid". We made a teenie weenie detour on our way back to the hotel....just to find ourselves getting lost. Hahaha. But instead of taking a trike or asking for directions, we just followed the directions of the street signs. For example, if there's no turn left sign, we're going to the right. As fun as it may be, we still ended up back to the hotel, though I didn't know how we even ended up going back there. The good thing about that detour is we got a glimpse of the sinking bell tower.

LA PRECIOSA

By the time we are back in the hotel, Reggie's back and the rest are still sleeping. We wake them up for dinner, but the siblings were too tired, so it's just the 6 of us. We went to La Preciosa for dinner.
We ordered, poqui poqui, Chicken Kare-kare and sinigang na baboy and fish.

Honestly, poqui poqui is quite funny for it's name yet it still made me very very curious. That's why I ordered one.
Poqui Poqui

It's made out of tomatoes, eggplant, onion and egg. Simple, right? But what surprises me is that its taste is very very good. As in masarap! We even had an additional order of this one.
Then, Alain ordered dessert. Since La Preciosa is famous for it's carrot cake, Alain ordered one. And Again! It's so delicious talaga.

My Over All Rating Here is 9/10
The price is affordable yet the food is great. Makes me want to come back for more.

Then we walked back to the hotel. Of course we took a few picture taking before heading back.

That's how our first day ended. Quite tiring yet full of fun.
