Ilocos Region Day 3-Part 3 Pagudpud-Vigan-Manila

DAY 3 - LAST DAY

My last entry for our Ilocos trip :( We had this trip 2 months ago. But it seems like yesterday especially now that I'm re-living it.

KAPURPURAWAN ROCK FORMATION

There's a note in our itinerary that says "bring umbrella/cap for protection against the sun". Why didn't I listen to this hmp! It's already the end of the summer so I thought that the weather might be cooler....Boy I was wrong!
We need to have a long walk under that scorching sun to go to the site. There's no shade :( If you're wondering why I have my purple towel in most of my picture, I'm covering my sunburnt shoulder because it can't take the heat...it's too painful.

Kapurpurawan Rock is located at the town of Burgos near the lighthouse of Cape Bojeador. According to the locals, the word  "Kapurpurawan" means whiteness or white. True enough, most of the rock there is colored white. They are formed by the strong forces of the wind and water of the ocean.

Reggie and I took a picture at one of the cliffs

We didn't stay long as it was very hot. Good thing that one of the shades there you'll find Ate Manang buko Juice Vendor. Reggie's treat! YES! AAAHHHH!!! REFRESHING!!!!

BACK TO VIGAN

Kapurpurawan is the last tourist spot for pagudpud. And now we're going back to Vigan again for pasalubong and dinner. Since it's another long travel, we took a nap.
It's already 4 pm when we arrived in Vigan. Of course! Shopping Galore! We bought our own sets of pasalubong. I only bought longganisa vigan and bagnet. Speaking of longganisa...I still haven't cook it yet!!!
I still remember this souvenir shop where we bought our pasalubong. They had their TV on and it's showing the buzz featuring Charice interviewed by Boy Abunda. Thew news is about her coming out of the closet, admitting she is a lesbian.

ANYWAYS!!!!! I also bought a pair of bracelet, one for me and one for mahal.
Luckily I found this one. It has the best design...and that is the last pair available.

CAFE LEONA

This is our last dinner together. Cafe leona is located near Leona Florentino monument. We had our seats outside to appreciate the night lights of Vigan. It's quite cozy.
We ordered Crab and Corn Soup, Bagnet with KBL pizza, Pakbet Pizza and Greek Salad.
Food is great. Service.....it's quite hard to get the attention of the food servers and the salad was served late. Actually, we were about to cancel the salad. I think they forgot to punch it.
Ambience is great too.

Overall Rating: 7/10

Then we made out last picture taking of the night in Vigan.

And now we're off to Manila. Goodbye Vigan! Goodbye Ilocos! This will be definitely the greatest trip I ever had.

Everyone's tired and sleeping now. I'm not sure about Reggie if he's working with his lappy.
We traveled back to Manila faster than I expected. Well actually, the driver drives fast enough to make me feel that the van's wheels is not touching the ground anymore hahaha SCARY!

Then last picture taken in balintawak mcdonalds
Whew! that was tiring but fun. That's where we go our separate ways. Reggie and I took a cab since I can drop him off in UST. Good thing I was with Reggie, he paid the cab.....rich kid!!!! hehehe

Aftermath

Seems like each one of us had our hang overs....not with alcohol but with our 4 day trip. They even made our own chatroom in facebook called Team Poqui Poqui hahaha. and it's still active. It took us weeks before we got over that trip. still laughing about the memories that we had. And now, they're reminiscing again since they read about the blog..kakamiss

This is my first entry so hope you readers will like my posts. If you have any comments on how to improve my blog please don't hesitate to tell me

By the way, let me acknowledge Reggie Alain Richard Julie and Noel for the images that I used for the my Ilocos trip entry Thank you guys! let's have another trip
